Newspaper Bags

I just thought I would share with the class something I learned recently. For those of you who receive the South Bend Tribune, you can collect those plastic bags and give them back to your carrier. Apparently, the carriers are required to pay for those bags out of their pocket so they would appreciate having the bags back. That way, the bags get reused.

Thanks Kim, I would never have thought to track down information about those orange bags. I will save mine and leave them at the front door for the carrier.

On the same note, you can also reuse your prescription bottles (the plastic ones). I took mine in when I was refilling a prescription and they reused it.

During Bagfest, one of the Wal-Mart workers said her daughter delivered papers and they would charge her for the bags no matter what. I don't know how long ago her daughter delivered papers, but hopefully now that has changed.

I noticed a lot of those newspaper bags in the BagFest pile.

If I were that volunteer, I would have helped myself to those orange bags!
